When is the Best Time to Release your Album?

January

January and February tend to be the slowest months as sales are low. But during this time media and consumers are always looking for something new!

February – May

It’s an excellent season to release your new album. Competition is very high during these months, so try to release a single or a video at this time frame instead.

If you are planning to play to an event or go on a tour, then maybe you should consider releasing your new record.

 

June – August

Usually, there are fewer releases to compete with. The only disadvantage is that summer is a peak festival season. Therefore everyone will be focused on festivals and big events. Usually, it is a good time to release new music, but it’s recommended to avoid the last week of August.

 

September – December

Winter months are considered as the best ones to release a new record! You can follow up by a new single or a video!
